Vehicle Organization= A Clean Vehicle

Yes, even a vehicle can be organized  to help to keep it clean longer. It will still get the normal dirt on the floor mats and sticky parts from the kids, but it will be a lot easier for you to maintain if it is organized.

THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT

This area should hold a envelope that has your vehicle registration, proof of insurance(DO NOT keep this in your vehicle!!!  I have just been made aware that it is smarter to keep this in your purse or wallet. A reader (Vanessa F) has just emailed to let me know that it is offering information to someone if they steal your vehicle. GOOD THOUGHT VENESSA! Please accept a copy of  '101 Hints for Around the Home' as a Thank You!)  and a copy of your vehicle maintenance record.
You may also want to have a squirt bottle with air deodorizer, extra money for the parking meter, a small flashlight, tire gauge, pen and small notebook. I also keep a small screwdriver in here for emergency use.
a map of the area you travel most often and a city map. If you should have to call for help you can give them the correct directions.

A small pack of kleenex (tissues) and pack of cough drops (This comes in handy more times than you think) Wet wipes are handy too!

THE TRUNK

Jumper cables
Small box with blanket, water bottle, crackers, chocolate, flashers, hand warmers, extra gloves and ice scraper (for emergency)
Some people also carry a small box with tools (this however would not do me any good since I probably wouldn't have any idea of how to fix anything)
A can of deicer and tire inflater

If you can think of more things to add, please email me at Easy_organizing@yahoo.com and tell me about them.  Jan
