How to Make a Scrap Book Area or Room

If you have the space, it is nice to have all of your scrap booking supplies in one room for your scrap booking projects. With these helpful hints, and places to get organizing supplies at great prices, it should be easy for you to have an awesome room!

However, if you do not have the accommodations for a separate room, most of this system can be set up in a corner of a room if done on a smaller scale. If it were possible, it would also come in handy to have a closet that you can add shelving space. This can be used for scrap booking as well as additional storage space for out-of-season clothing.

Rather than for me to write an article about 'How to Create a Scrapbook Organizing Area', I am going to send you to the BEST article that I have found on the subject. It gives you tons of ideas and places to get the supplies. I really think that you will enjoy reading it!

Other hints of things to use for scrap booking storage:

  • If you don't have the room for a large desk, you may want to use a small three or four drawer dresser that you can use in your dining area.
  • Make holders for your pages using cardboard, cut to fit the size of the paper and decorate them. Add a string for a holder and hang them on the back wall of your closet.
  • A great organizing space to use is 'under your bed' purchase and organizing box or two that will hold all of your supplies and simply slide them under the bed when you are finished using them.
  • Add a cabinet or shelf in your laundry room, decorate boxes or plastic container with the pictures of what is inside and store.
