Cleaning Solvents You Have In Your Home

Ammonia

A good grease cutter, wax stripper (on floors) and a window cleaner. NEVER MIX WITH BLEACH- IS HAZARDOUS

 

Baking Soda

Baking soda is the best all purpose cleaner there is. It deodorizes, cleans, is non-toxic and removes stains.

 

Bleach

great for whitening, especially material. Removes molds and mildews and works wonderfully for cleaning just about anything. It will take the color out of material so be careful.

 

Borax

Deodorizes and removes stains. Works as a great booster to soaps of all kinds and helps to eliminate odors.

 

Corn Starch

Cleans and doedorizes carpets and rugs and can be used like baby powder for medicinal purposes too.

 

Ketchup (catsup)

Is great for cleaning copper. Clean well with catsup and don't forget to coat with a sealer on metal items.

 

Lemon Juice

Great for Whitening. It also cuts through grease and stains on porcelain and aluminum sinks etc.

 

White Vinegar

very cheap and inexpensive to use and is great for cleaning windows, hard surfaces and shining up metals.It also removes mildew and wax buildup
