15 Environmental Friendly Cleaning Recipes

I am very amazed at how many people want to green clean their homes and don't know what to use for cleaning. There are so many things on the market that are labeled green clean, Eco Friendly, Environmental Friendly, but there are very few that are certified under the Green Seal label.

However, it seems to me that all of this labeling, tests and research is really a waste of money. We have had green friendly and environmentally safe products in our grasp for years. Great-grandma and grandma used them and we did not have a government body telling us that they were safe.

Have you every checked the ingredients on most cleaners? They are basically ammonia, vinegar or borax based in most instances. It is all the rest of the 'new and improving' that they have done to it that has made it hazardous.

If you would like to stick with the tried and true environmental friendly cleaners, make your own using thee recipes. You will be shocked at how clean your home is and how much money you are going to save on cleaners.
